850 THE BUZZ PROVIDES LISTENERS WITH LIVE U.S. OPEN BROADCASTS FROM PINEHURST, N.C.

 

Raleigh, N.C. – June 8, 2005 – WRBZ Sports Radio 850 the Buzz announced today that it is providing its listeners with over forty hours of live broadcasts from the U.S. Open In Pinehurst, North Carolina.  The broadcasts begin on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 and continue through the end of the U.S. Open on Sunday, June 19, 2005, as the 850 the Buzz afternoon and evening personalities host their shows live from the event.

 

“North Carolina is proud to once again host the prestigious U.S. Open from the Pinehurst Resort,” said Adam Gold, 850 the Buzz Program Director and Afternoon Host.  “WRBZ 850 the Buzz is very excited to be able to offer its listeners broadcasts from the incredible Course 2 in Pinehurst throughout the week of the Open.  In this way, our listeners will experience the U.S. Open in a very unique manner.”

 

Both Adam Gold and Morgan Patrick, Evening Sports Host, will broadcast their shows live from the U.S. Open for the entire week.  U.S. Open coverage with Adam and Morgan will air from 3pm until 8pm from Tuesday, June 14, 2005 through Friday, June 17, 2005.

 

In addition to the broadcast of the weekday shows, 850 the Buzz will offer live show broadcasts on Saturday, June 18, 2005 and Sunday, June 19, 2005.  On both days 850 the Buzz broadcasts begin at 10am and continue until 4pm.  At 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, 850 the Buzz will begin airing live play-by-play coverage of the U.S. Open until end of play each day.
