Programming Line-Up for

Sports Radio 620 The Bull – WDNC

Raleigh, N.C. – Tuesday, November 1, 2005 will kick-off the line-up of Sports Radio 620 The Bull WDNC-AM.  Sports Radio 620 The Bull will feature a line-up of local talent beginning with “The Morning Mojo,” featuring seven-year 850 The Buzz announcer Morgan Patrick (The Sports Pig), along with Joe Ovies.  McClatchey Broadcasting continues its relationship with former Carolina play-by-play announcer Bill Rosinski, who will anchor the 10am-12noon weekday slot.  At 12noon, “The Bull Pen” will begin, featuring 850 The Buzz’s Chris Clark hosting a line-up of local guests.  From 1pm-3pm, 620 The Bull will feature the nationally acclaimed James Brown from Fox Television Sports.  Afternoon Drive duties will be handled by Tim Brando, a name and voice familiar to Triangle sports fans.  Weekday evenings include the ACC Conference Call, with programming geared toward the Triangle’s love for the Atlantic Coast Conference.

In addition to local Sports Talk, 620 The Bull will continue its longstanding affiliation with Duke University sports.  Other play-by-play offerings will include the Charlotte BobCats and the Durham Bulls.

Billy McClatchey, President of McClatchey Broadcasting, stated:  “I have always expressed my desire to expand our local sports programming in the market, and the addition of 620 The Bull will give listeners and advertisers more choices.”

McClatchey Broadcasting owns and operates the highly successful 850 The Buzz WRBZ.  850 The Buzz was recently named one of the Top 15 Sports Talk radio stations in the country.
